Your Girlfriend Needs Space–What Do You Do?

No guy wants to her his girlfriend say that she wants some space.  Handle the situation maturely because doing so may help change her mind, so you can back together.  Don’t start fuming because may really need this space. Be understanding.  If she asks for space, she not saying she want to break up. She’s only asking for some time to reevaluate the relationship.  It’s vital to do as she asks because if you don’t, she may really breakup.

So, she needs some space, allow her to have the time she needs.  Don’t call her on the phone or even text her.  As difficult as that may sound, this is what she wants.  Spend some time doing something creative while you have the space.  Women don’t like men who get too possessive over them, so don’t start sending flowers and stopping by every night.  She will probably see you as a stalker and want to get away.

If your girlfriend asks for space, give it to her. She needs to reevaluate the relationship.  Think about your relationship and ask yourself, what went wrong.  Are you a different person than you were in the beginning?  Keep an open mind, and evaluate your part in the relationship.  Doing so, will help you see if there are areas you can help improve.

Make some self improvements.  Find a class to enrich your life or change your hairstyle.  If you do things she likes, it will show that you are the man for her.  Just change those little things about you she thinks needs improvement.  The things you improve on may be the reason she wanted space in the first place.  If you follow this advice, then you’ll know how to hand the situation.

One reason a girlfriend may want her space is so that she can grow as a person on her own.  Some men tend to have the knight and shining armor syndrome, where you tend to save every problems she has.  Some women feel it’s best for them to solve their own problems.  If she feels she needs to solve her own problems then back off and let her.  It may not be easy, but you’re helping her be a better person.  It’s good for her to be independent and not dependent on you as much. It will make her happy that you showed your respect and done as she requested.

Give your girlfriend time and try to understand her needs.  Needing space doesn’t mean she wants to break up, so follow this advice and you’ll be back together again.
